Every new colour client gets a strand test and a patch test. A patch test is done 48 hours before the appointment. This is not a formality — colour allergies are real and can be severe, and any salon that skips this step is cutting a corner at your expense.
If you are going significantly lighter, be prepared for the conversation about how many sessions it will take. Lifting dark Indian hair to a light blonde in one sitting is how hair gets destroyed. We will tell you what is achievable safely, even when that is not what you hoped to hear.
Grey coverage is a large part of what we do, for both men and women. We can match a natural depth or take the opportunity to go a shade warmer or cooler.

Do I need a patch test before colouring?
Yes, and we require it for all new colour clients. It is done 48 hours before your appointment and takes two minutes. Colour allergies can be severe, and this is the only reliable way to detect one in advance.
How long does hair colour last?
Global colour holds for six to eight weeks before roots become visible. Fashion shades and lighter tones fade faster and may need a gloss refresh at four weeks. Balayage grows out softly and can go three to four months between appointments.
Can you colour my hair without ammonia?
Yes. We stock ammonia-free colour systems, which are gentler and have far less odour. They are excellent for grey coverage and depth changes, but cannot lift as many levels as an ammonia-based colour.
Can I go blonde in one session?
If your hair is naturally dark, usually not safely. Lifting dark hair to a light blonde generally takes two or three sessions with recovery time between them. We will always tell you what is realistic rather than damage your hair to hit a shade in one sitting.
